Christmas!!!

This was our first Christmas not being with any family. Matt and I both thought that it wasn't going to be very good but we were surprised to find that we had a lot of fun and it wasn't half bad. For Christmas Eve we went out to the Olive Garden and had a big meal. Reagan was so good and happy the whole time. We had people coming up to us and telling us how good our daughter was. That made us feel like we were actually doing a good job at raising her, it's nice to have that confirmation every once in a while. Next we came home to open 1 present. Reagan got her new PJ's and Matt got I am Legend, and I got the Rook game. We then all dressed in our PJ's and headed out to look at the Christmas lights. I was shocked that not a lot of people had lights up anymore but we did end up finding some and Reagan loved it. She would be looking out her window and when she saw the lights she would say LOOK! and then she would say oh cute. It really made Matt and I want to find more lights and made us feel so good just seeing the simple joy looking at the lights brought her. We then came home and watched a Christmas movie, One of the short ones because it was already way past Reagan's bed time. Then Matt and I stayed up and watched his movie and then we went to bed.

Christmas morning was GREAT. Reagan had been itching all month to open the presents under the tree and when we finally said ok you can open them she got so excited. She got so many toys and stuffed animals she didn't know what to do with them all. I loved seeing the look on her face when she opened her gifts, you would have thought that she opened up a million dollars every present. After all the present opening we had a great breakfast thanks to Matt and Knots last bottle ever of boysenberry syrup. Matt and I had a great time just being with our own family and making new traditions for our own family. Being out here by ourselves with no family has really brought us closer together as a couple and as a family. We cant wait for next year when we will have little Reagan and Ryker with us.

She loved all the stuffed animals.

IT'S A BOY !!!!!!!

Today we went to get our ultrasound to see f Reagan was going to have a brother or sister. While in the room she started looking at the normal measurements and everything looks good. Then she asked if we wanted to find out the sex of course we said yes, that's the reason we were there oh and to make sure he is healthy too. So she starts looking and the baby is moving all over and she says that she thinks its a boy but is not sure because the cord is between the legs. She then says she is going to leave for a few min and we should try to get the baby to move and when she gets back she will try again. After she leaves Matt starts getting mad and was like i'm not here to to have a guess I could do that I want to know if i'm having a son she can't tease me like that. He then yelled at my stomach telling the baby to move. When she came back into the room she tried again and was able to tell without a doubt it was a BOY!!! We are all so excited and can't wait for him to be here.

Turkey day and update

It has been a while since I updated the blog. Our family is doing very well. Reagan is starting to talk more and more everyday. One of the funniest things is when she says frog it sounds more like she is saying the F word. It took us a while to figure out what she was really trying to say. She is actually growing more hair I cant wait till its long enough that I can do cute things with it. I can't believe that she is going to be 2 in a few months time goes by so fast. I am 18 weeks pregnant and it has been very hard for us all. I am sick all the time and I am always so nervous when Matt goes to work but Reagan is AMAZING!! She is the best little girl and has a lot of patients with me and loves to cuddle with me in bed and watch either Princess and the Frog or Nemo. We get to find out what we are having in 2 weeks. I am looking forward to it so much and so is Matt. I think it's going to be a boy but who knows, Matt was so sure that Reagan was a boy. This year was the first Thanksgiving that I was not with extended family. I was going to make a thanksgiving dinner but was sick instead so we watched the parade and then headed out for lunch at Denny's. We then took Reagan to her very first movie. We saw Tangled and Reagan did better than expected. She loved that the seats folded up and down and actually watched the movie until the last 20 min. We actually has a very good time together as a family and I am now looking forward to being on our own for Christmas too. The other day Reagan and I went out to get the mail and we saw this:

Reagan loved looking at them so much and after we got the mail I made her go inside and so she would bring me the camera and say turkeys, turkeys. I let her watch the video over and over until I got so sick of it I turned it off and had to hide the camera. I am a mean mom but after the 100th time I just had to turn it off.
